Procedures and Policies

PLEASE NOTE: ProSkill Development strictly abides by the rules and regulations set forth by the State Of Massachusetts. The school is properly licensed and is in compliance with these regulations.

These Procedures are for FULL-DAY Clinics Only.  Do NOT apply to clinics and 1/2 Day Clinics.  Thank You!

Check in / Check Out Procedures:

Please arrive one half hour (30 minutes) before the scheduled start time of your session.

All paper work must be submitted by this time, or your child will not be allowed on the ice. This includes a signed Registration Form, a completed Health Form, and any special permission you are giving to have your child picked up after their session by someone other than yourself. Online registration is available.

Before and after each session, every participant must check in and check out with the appointed staff member.

Bring Your Own Lunch:

Each participant must bring a lunch, or have money to purchase a lunch where available, every day of their session. Lunches brought from home must be brought to the arena in an individual cooler device.

Water and Hydration Policy:

We advise all participants to bring a water bottle from home. The Arena will have water fountains available.

To maintain safe levels of hydration, and to help avoid the spread of germs, including Meningococcal Disease, students should bring their own water bottles, or money to purchase drinks at the arena, every day.

We do not advise students to share personal drinks with other students.

Water bottles are permitted on the ice and may be used when necessary.

Grievance Procedures:

You may file a grievance with ProSkill Development in writing by e-mail, info@proskilldevelopment.com, or by postal mail, 21 New Balch St. #1, Beverly, MA 01915. Please indicate the clinic to which you are referring, and if possible, the names of the people involved in your grievance.

We welcome any suggestions that will help make our program a more enjoyable and beneficial experience for children.

Blister Prevention:

To ensure our students have the best possible experience at ProSkill Development Clinic, we highly recommend that students take a few precautions against developing blisters.

• Bring at least one extra pair of socks each day to keep your feet dry.
• Try to break-in new skates well before the first day of clinic.

If you do develop a blister, it is important to treat it immediately. Please talk to a staff member for blister treatment advice.
Use blister band-aids at the first sign of a developing blister.
